Just sit back and enjoy what you have now

Ever wonder why things happen the way they do? I do all the time. At the time of them happening I don't like if it don't go the way I want it to go, but later down the road and looking back I am very grateful for the ways things turn out. God really does know the bigger picture and knows what is best for us in our lives at the time and for the future. I am very grateful for everything we have. We would not have any of the things we have without God. I just have to wait and watch what God is doing in our lives right now instead of waiting day by day and wondering why.

With everything that is happending to others around us and with their relationships, makes me very grateful for my relationship with bj. He is so good to me and very loving. He is always there for me when I need him and I am always there for him. With hunting season just opening we don't get to spend out of time together. We only get to spend like 3 or 4 hours together a day because we both work and he will be gone every weekend. If we did not have God in our relationship then we would be in trouble.

The number one thing to remember is God will take care of you if you just let him and ask him for help and give back to him for what he wants.

God will take care of us!!

ok, what have we been up to, we have been working and working. Last weekend we had a girls weekend at the lake house. It was me and all the girls on my dad's side of the family. There was 12 of us there. We left right after work on friday and came back on sunday. That was the best weekend yet. It was so nice to get away and just be girls and not wives. Me and mom and my brother's girlfriend leslie had alittle to much fun friday night and saturday was not a good day. It was nice to get away from everything that has been going on here in the past few months. Needless to say my family has been going through a lot here lately. But the good thing that has come out of is so far is that is has brought me and my brother alot closer. I know if God put you there he will pull you through it. I just have to have faith in him and trust him to pull me through it.

Bj's birthday was this past friday and I got up at 5:30 and made him a big breakfast. I made him a breakfast casserole, bacon, chocolate gravy, and biscuits. He woke up to early cause he smelled it. He was very surprised I cooked him breakfast because I am not really a breakfast cooker, he is. It was very good though.

I have alot on my mind these days and going through alot. I just keep praying and praying for things to get better and I do beleive God will take care of me and get me through it. I just would like everyone to keep me in yall's prayers.

first year anniversary

Well we just got back from our annivesary. Bj did sooooo good. About a month ago I got mad at him because he said he had regionals tournment on our anniversary and he said we can just celebrate it the weekend before and it wasn't that big of a deal. Well needless to say I got my feelings hurt. I told him it hurt my feelings. Well he must of saw the light and he planned a big weekend for us. Well He played his first game on friday night at 7:30. Well they lost the first game. So then they played at 2:30 on saturday and if they won that then they played at 7:30 on saturday night. Well our anniversary was on saturday. He surprised me with a one hour massage and a pedicure and a manicure with my mom. We went to rejuvinate salon at 10:30 and got all pretty. It was very relaxing. We both needed it very badly. While he was coaching baseball we went and got all pretty. Mom brought me back home and bj got home shortly after. He just told me to pack my bags and pack a cocktail dress. He finally told me where we were going when we started heading that way. We ended up staying at the peabody hotel, where we stayed our wedding night. We also ate at the restrauant there at the hotel. After we ate then we went back up to our room and tempted to eat our one year old cake. It didn't look bad but was it. The icying was soooo hard but the cake part was not too bad. We just took one bite each and said we at least tryed it. Then we rented a movie off the tv that was still in theatres. It was so nice and relaxing. He did such a good job. I also surprised him with a brand new wake board and along with a note saying I will wake up with you in the morning at 6:00 to take him wakeboarding. I must really love him if I get up that early on my saturdays to sleep in. lol Here are some few pics that we took last night.

Getting used to everything

ok well I am getting horrible at posting on these things. Well fourth of july was fun. We got to take out boat out for the first time at the lake. We went down to the lake house on Lake Hamilton to meed bj's family there for the weekend. We took it out that saturday morning and went skiing and tubing and wake boarding. It was lot of fun. The guy we bought the boat from gave us all their life jackets and ropes and a wakeboard. It was very nice of him. Since the boat is a jet boat it sucks water up and pushes it out. Well needless to say we sucked up a piece of wood and didn't know it. We did not figure it out till the next day when we pulled it out of the water. Bj, me and his cousin Heath were trying to get these things out to look down in the moter and we could not get them out. We got them unlocked and we thought we locked them back. Well me and Bj went out on Lake Ouachita the next day and took the boat out for a spin to see if the wood was the problem. Well them things we were trying to get out popped out and it shut off the motors. Needless to say we were taking in water. So we pulled it up to the bank and tryed to get the water out. We putted back to get the boat back on the trailor and pulled the plug and water ran out forever. We almost sank the boat and that was sooooo scary. We took it back out and I pulled him skiing and he pulled me. We have had alot of troubles with the boat. We started to take it out this past weekend and needless to say it broke. Me and bj were going to take my parents out to the lake so I called them to tell them we can't go. My dad said we can go and pack a lunch and he can look at the boat to see what is wrong with it since he used to be a mechanic. He looked at it and figured out what was wrong with it. We loaded up and went to the lake and my dad and bj fixed it and we spent the rest of saturday out on the lake. We almost ran out of gas so we had to switch it to reserve to get us back in. We waited to late to go back home before dark so we got to park our boat at trader bills for the night and we stayed the night at the lake house. We went putt putt and out to eat. It was great family time together.

Bj and I have been doing good. I am just trying to survive with the baseball coaching. I am getting used to it since this is what he will be doing in his real job. I just need something to occupy my time. lol Bj has regionals the day of our one year anniversary and I got upset about it but he has planned something special for us. We won't tell me what it is and where we are going. He is very sweet when he wants to be. I do know what I am getting for our anniversary though. I am getting another band on the other side of my wedding ring and getting them all put together.

Drake and Buddy are doing really good. I just bought them a little kiddy pool because it is sooo hot outside for them during the day. They have not got in it yet but I think they will to cool off sometime.

Vacation

Well we have been going here lately alot. We have been so grateful to do all these things. We just got back from vacation in Gulf Shores for a week. We had a blast. It was so relaxing. We started driving down on friday right after work. We stopped in hattisburg Alabama. I was about a 6 hour drive there. We stayed the night in a hotel and got up early and started to drive three more hours to Gulf Shores. We arrived about 12 in gulf shores and went and got out keys the condo. Once we got there and fought our condo but realized we are going to have to bring our luggage up four flights of stairs. No elevator. It was so fun. But we got it all unloaded. Our condo was right on the beach and it was so nice. We arrived and we did an online grocery shopping and we we got there our groceries were already in the refrigerator and in the cabinets for us. We went straight down to the beach and set our chairs up so we could leave them there all week. We basically stayed out on the beach all week long. We met a family from Louisville and hung out with them all week and nights. They brought the game bago. It is kinda like hourse shoes but it is two boards with a hole in the middle and you toss bags filled with beans and try to make it into the hole. If you land in the hole you get three points and if you land on the board then you get one point. Me and Bj teamed up the first day and we never lost a game. Then we teamed up the last day and never got beat again. We had to call them hogs after that. The family also made their own wine. That the soooo good wine. It was cranberry and very sweet. Bj made breakfast for me 3 mornings and then we went out to eat. We ate out at the oyster house. It was very good. We also ate out at Lamberts. Where they throw rolls at you. Also bj found out that seaguls can catch food it the air as they fly. Bj was feeding all the seaguls and we saw one with a broken leg. We both got really really dark and love that. We also saw dalphins three mornings. We also went crab hunting at night and saw 20 sand crabs in one night. That was really fun. We had a great time together and it was nice to get away from all the hetic stuff back at home. Drake and Buddy got left at home while we were gone. My mother in law came and fed them every day and also fed them treats as well. Needless to say they wanted treats more than their dog food.

We arrived home on friday about 5:30 and then we went to the lake in hot springs on saturday at 9:30. Bj's family was down this weekend and we went down there and spent time with them.

Our other exciting news is we just bought a boat. We are really exicted about that. It is a yamaha jet boat that seats 7 people. It has a canopy and a pylone so we can wake board. We werent going to get it because we figured we needed to save our money for a baby but we also have wanted a boat. A baby is not here yet so we decided on a boat. If a baby arrives soon then we will be very joyous for two things.

Alot going on

We got back from Dallas on monday. We didn't go to the rangers and yankees game becasue bj did not feel good. I had to drive us all the way back home and we would have gotten back really late. We had a good time. We got to visit with bj's cousin's and saw their house. It was really nice. We grilled out and drank and just hung out. The boys went to walmart to buy a bebe gun to go rat hunting. They have a big rat that comes every night along their power lines and caroline wanted it dead. So we sat out their on sunday night waiting for him to come but he never showed up. We left the hunt up to aaron now.

We are going to vacation in two weeks. I can not wait. I need a vacation soooo bad. We are going to Gulf Shores. We got to order our groceries online and they will put our groceries in our condo the day we arrive. That way we don't have to bother going to the grocery store when we get there. I thought that was a great idea.

The Kenny chesney concert was the best concert yet. Where we sat Kenny came up to us so close when he came in. He put on a really good show. here are some pictures from the concert.

ok where do I start, lets see. Bj had to go to the eye doctor last week cause his eyes are getting so bad. I finally got him to go. The doctor told him he has an eye stigmatism. He has to wear glasses all the time now. He and I are getting used to him wearing glasses. He looks good in them. I got to hear him complain alot about them but I guess that is what wives are for.

We are going to Kenny Chesney concert tomorrow night with our friends Judy and Daniel. We are very excited about that. We are sitting on the floor. That was my birthday present BJ got me. I will post pics up after we get back.

Then Memorial day weekend we are going to Dallas to see BJ's cousin's new house they just bought. We were going to go down a couple of weekends in the past but we decided not to go because we had to much going on. We are going to stay there till monday. I can't wait for a day off of work.

Then in four more weeks, no is counting or anything we are going to Gulf shores for a whole week. I can not wait to get away and lay out on the beach. We rented a condo for 6 nights right on the beach just the two of us and we are going to enjoy every minute of it. My mother in law is going to come over and feed her grandchildren while we are going to be gone. Hopefully soon she will be able to say she will be having grandchildren soon.

I am just trying to get over a really bad cold now and I had to go home early from work yesterday but I am doing alittle better. Me and Dena my mother in law and my mom were going to go listen to my brother play tonight at this place in town but I didn't feel up to it so my mom and grandma went. There band is Calling Drake named after my dog Drake.
